Google's New Name



This is hilarious. Backstory: Topeka has been negotiating with Google to be the first city with their new-generation internet service.

UPDATE:  Here is what the Google Capital-Journal has to say about it.

UPDATE II:  Kathleen caught this. In their "not in Kansas" story, "Topeka" offered this helpful example,
What town is about 40 mi. southwest of Topeka?  Alta Vista, Kansas!
